Since we are in the era of waiting for the arrival of a prominent figure Imam Al Mahdi, therefore let us understand the only messenger of God who was made an Imam to Mankind who is clearly mentioned in the Al Quran which is Prophet Ibrahim. And (remember), when Prophet Ibrahim was tested by his Lord with several Kalimahs, then Prophet Ibrahim completed them. (After that) Allah said: "Indeed, I have appointed you to be an Imam (follower leader) for mankind". Prophet Ibrahim begged by saying: "(O my God!) Make (whatever it may be) from my descendants (leaders to follow)". God said: "(Your request is accepted, but) My promise will not be found by the wrongdoers." (Al-Baqarah 2:124) When God sends a Prophet to a people, then he is a Man. Prophet Ibrahim (as) is famous as a single person, and God made him an imam to mankind. He is said to be the closest Prophet to Prophet Muhammad. What does closest mean? Was he brought to be a priest after the end of prophethood. Indeed, the closest people to Prophet Ibrahim are those who follow him and also this Prophet (Muhammad) and the believers. And (remember), Allah is the Protector and Helper of all believers. (A-li'Imraan 3:68)
PLACE OF PROPHET IBRAHIM, HAZAL BALADIL AMEN And (remember) when Prophet Ibrahim prayed saying: "O my Lord! Make this a peaceful land, and give sustenance from various kinds of fruits to its inhabitants, namely those who believe in God and the Last Day among them." . Allah said: "(Your request is accepted) but whoever disbelieves and disbelieves, I will also give him pleasure in enjoying the sustenance for a while (in this world), then I will force him (by dragging him) to the punishment of hell, and (that is) as bad as -bad place to return". (Al-Baqarah 2:126) And (remember) when Prophet Ibrahim prayed saying: "O my Lord! make this land a peaceful land, and keep me and my children away from worshiping idols. (Abraham 14:35)
ABRAHAM RELIGION Then We revealed to you (O Muhammad): You should follow the religion of Prophet Ibrahim, who stood firmly on the right path; and he is not from the polytheists. (Al-Nahl 16:123) There is no one who hates the religion of Prophet Ibrahim other than the one who makes a fool of himself, because indeed We have chosen Ibrahim (to be a prophet) in this world; and verily, in the Hereafter, he will be among the pious people who are (highest in dignity). (Al-Baqarah 2:130) And they (Jews and Christians) said: "Become a Jew or a Christian, then you will be guided". Say: "We Muslims will not follow what you say) in fact we follow the religion of Prophet Ibrahim which remains on the basis of Tawheed, and is not from the polytheists". (Al-Baqarah 2:135) THE STRENGTH OF THE PROPHET IBRAHIM'S FAITH Don't you (strange) think (O Muhammad) about the person who argued against Prophet Ibrahim (with his arrogance) about his Lord, because God gave that person the power of government? When Prophet Ibrahim said: "My Lord is the One who gives life and the One who causes death". He replied: "I can also turn it on and off". Prophet Ibrahim said again: "Indeed, Allah raises the sun from the east, so make him rise from the west?" So the unbeliever was astonished (then remained silent). And (remember), Allah will not guide the unjust people. (Al-Baqarah 2:258) Prophet Ibrahim is not a convert to Judaism, and he is not a convert to Christianity, but he is a person who remains on the basis of Tawheed as a Muslim (who obeys and surrenders completely to God), and he is not from the polytheists . (A-li'Imraan 3:67) Say (O Muhammad): "It is true (what God said), so follow the sincere religion of Prophet Ibrahim (based on Monotheism), and he is not of the polytheists. (A-li'Imraan 3:95)
HUMAN PRIEST, PROPHET IBRAHIM AS ONE PERSON Indeed, Prophet Ibrahim is "one nation" (even though he is alone); it is fully devoted to God, and stands firmly on the basis of monotheism; and it was never from the polytheists. (Al-Nahl 16:120) It is clear from this verse that Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) did not have followers even though he was appointed by God as a human imam. And God made his strength seem like a nation. Have you ever thought why? Does he come not as in the context of understanding understood and accepted by humans who consider their opinion the most true.
HUMANS OF THE UMMI RACE Both human parents have been removed from paradise. What is jannah? Make human orphans who are ummi. They have no knowledge, vision, hearing or conscience about this world, the universe and the unseen. Some truths are kept. Humans live without true knowledge. Then God called Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to be a human imam (exemplary wife) to be lifted up to Jannah, as justice for mankind. In Al Quran mention, we showed the greatness and power of heaven and earth to Abraham. But what truth reached him, far from the stream of human understanding that has been programmed by the enemies of man. Black becomes white, White becomes Black. Therefore, he was not followed. Those are the people whom God Almighty has sealed their hearts and their hearing and their sight; and they are the negligent.
PROPHET IBRAHIM WAS A PERSON WHO SAW GOD'S POWER IN HEAVEN AND EARTH And thus We showed to Prophet Ibrahim the greatness and power (of Us) in the heavens and on earth, and so that he may be of those who believe with full confidence. (Al-An'am 6:75)
SURRENDER TO GOD At the end of time, God called Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to completely surrender to Him. Obey the Lord of the worlds. (Remember) when his Lord said to him: "Submit yourself (to Me, O Abraham)!" Prophet Ibrahim replied: "I submit myself (obey) to God Who sustains and governs the whole world". (Al-Baqarah 2:131) PROPHET IBRAHIM'S WILL Prophet Ibrahim was a Muslim and he bequeathed the religion of Islam to mankind. And Prophet Ibrahim bequeathed that religion to his children, and (in the same way) Prophet Jacob (bequeathed to his children) said: "O my children! Indeed, God has chosen this religion (Islam) for you to follow, so do not you die unless you are in the state of Islam". (Al-Baqarah 2:132)
ADVANTAGES OF PROPHET IBRAHIM Summons the dead to rise to life again. And (remember) when Prophet Ibrahim (pleaded with) said: "O my Lord! Show me how You bring dead creatures to life?" Allah said: "Have you not believed (in my power)?" Prophet Ibrahim replied: "Indeed (I believe and am sure), but (I am asking for this is) to calm my heart (which I really want to witness)". God said: "(If so), take four birds, then gather them together (and chop them all). After that, place some of them on each hill. Then call the birds and they will all come to you immediately." . And know indeed that Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. (Al-Baqarah 2:260)
PROPHET IBRAHIM GOD'S LOVE And there is no one whose religion is better than the one who submits himself to Allah (sincerely), while he is trying to do good, and he follows the religion of Prophet Ibrahim who is straight (which remains on the basis of monotheism); and (because of that) God made Prophet Ibrahim His favorite. (An-Nisa' 4:125)
IBRAHIM'S TOMB Where is Ibrahim's grave? And how to enter with the believers who are with him? There are clear evidence signs (which show its glory; among them is) the Tomb of Prophet Ibrahim. And whoever enters it is at peace. And Allah obliges people to perform Hajj by visiting Baitullah, that is whoever is able to reach it. And whoever disbelieves (denies the obligation of Hajj worship), then verily Allah is the Richest (does not desire anything) from all creatures. (A-li'Imraan 3:97)
ISTIFAR PROPHET IBRAHIM FOR HIS FATHER And it is not Prophet Ibrahim's istighfar for his father (made) except because of the promise made to him; and when it became clear to Prophet Ibrahim that his father was an enemy of God, he left him. Indeed, Prophet Ibrahim was gentle and patient. (At-Taubah 9:114)
PROPHET IBRAHIM'S ATTITUDE Indeed, Prophet Ibrahim, patient, gentle (thoughtful) and likes to return to God by doing good deeds. (Hud 11:75) And read (O Muhammad) in this Book (Al-Quran) about Prophet Ibrahim; Indeed, he is a very righteous person, even a Prophet. (Mary 19:41) (Half of) them said: "We heard a young man named Ibrahim, reviling him (the idol)". (Al-Anbiya' 21:60) Prophet Ibrahim said: "Have you thought until you see the use of the things you worship? (Ash-Shu'araa' 26:75) For real! It is for you that Prophet Ibrahim and his followers are a good example to follow, that is for those who always hope for God's pleasure and (a good reward) in the Hereafter. And whoever turns away from emulating them, (then the punishment will befall himself), because verily Allah is the Most Rich, the Most Praiseworthy. (Al-Mumtahana 60:6)
ATTITUDE OF PROPHET IBRAHIM And (mention the incident of) Prophet Ibrahim, when he said to his people: "Worship Allah and fear Him; that is good for you if you know (to distinguish good from bad) (Al-'Ankabuut 29:16) Then, the call of Prophet Ibrahim was not answered by his people except with the words (hard opposition): "Kill him or burn him". So God saved Prophet Ibrahim from the fire (prepared by his people). Indeed, such events contain signs (that prove God's power) for the people who (want to) believe. (Al-'Ankabuut 29:24) And Prophet Ibrahim also said (to his people): "Your act of worshiping various idols, not worshiping God, is only because of maintaining a friendly relationship between each of you in this worldly life; then on the Day of Judgment, half of you will oppose the other half who another, and half of you will curse the other half; and (ultimately) your abode will be hell, and you will not have anyone who can help you". (Al-'Ankabuut 29:25) So they (by burning Prophet Ibrahim) wanted to commit a crime that hurt him, so We made them the lowest of the low (meaning unsuccessful). |
