Let's say you have become a Muslim, not a believer, because faith is something so expensive that all the gold on earth cannot buy it. A person's faith is not known unless it is tested. But let us understand who the believers are in the eyes of God based on the arguments of the Quran. Believers are those who:
1) When God's name is mentioned his heart trembles
2) When the Quran (kitab) is recited, his faith increases
3) People who surrender and fear God
4) People who perform prayer
5) People who donate part of their wealth
6) Do not retreat and turn your back in battle
7) Obey God and His Messenger
8) People who emigrated and fought in the way of Allah
9) And the people who extend help and offer a place to live to the Muslims who migrated.
PROOFS OF THE QUR'AN, BELIEVERS
Indeed, those who believe (whose faith is perfect) are those whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah (and His attributes) is mentioned; and when His verses are read to them, it makes them increase in faith, and to their Lord they surrender.
(Al-Anfaal 8:2)
They are those who establish prayer and who donate part of what We have bestowed upon them.
(Al-Anfaal 8:3)
O people who believe! When you meet the infidels who are advancing to attack, then do not turn back from opposing them.
(Al-Anfaal 8:15)
O people who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn away from him, while you are listening (to the Qur'an which requires obedience).
(Al-Anfaal 8:20)
O people who believe! When you meet an army (enemy) then you should remain steadfast in facing it, and mention and remember Allah (with prayer) a lot, so that you will succeed (achieve victory).
(Al-Anfaal 8:45)
And those who believe and emigrate and strive in the way of Allah (to defend Islam), and those who give shelter and help (to the Muslim emigrants), they are the true believers . They received forgiveness and abundant grace.
(Al-Anfaal 8:74)
Anyone who truly believes in God, worships without associating Him, gets a high rank from God and glory from His side.
